Bar Cabinet — Questions & Answers

1221 questions answered. Page 13 of 21.
What floor lamp pairs with a 180cm bar cabinet without crowding it?
Use an arched floor lamp with a 165cm reach placed 90cm behind the bar cabinet, so the shade hangs over the serving zone without hitting head height. Choose a slim brass or black metal stem because chunky bases clash with cabinet legs. Avoid upward-shade uplighters because they highlight ceiling dust. A 2700K warm bulb keeps the bar area feeling separate from the kitchen overheads.
Does a glass door bar cabinet collect dust fast in Singapore?
Glass door bar cabinets in Singapore collect dust about twice as fast as solid door versions because static pulls particles onto the inner pane. Wipe the inner glass weekly with a dry microfibre, not wet, to avoid streaks. Keep bottles at least 3cm apart so airflow reduces the musty smell that develops when glass meets humidity. MIDHILL offers optional anti-static inner glass on request for tropical climates.
What cushion colours work with a black bar cabinet in a modern Malaysian condo style?
Black bar cabinets pair best with cushions in rust, mustard, cream, or forest green for that modern Malaysian condo warmth. Avoid navy and charcoal because they disappear into the frame. Pick removable, washable covers because wet glass rings stain fabric within minutes in our climate. Three cushions per stool is plenty; more creates clutter on a compact bar top.
How do I unpack a Foshan crated bar cabinet without damaging it?
Lay the crate flat, unscrew the base boards first, then lift the cabinet vertically out with two people. Never tilt stone-topped versions because the polished face must stay vertical until placed. MIDHILL packs stone and mirror pieces in padded slots with polished faces never touching, but the rigid base still needs a flat lifting surface. Photograph the unpacking for warranty records before assembly.
How wide should a bar cabinet be for two people in a small Singapore home?
For two people in a small Singapore home, a 120cm bar cabinet gives just enough room for two stools at 65cm apart without elbow clashes. Smaller 90cm versions work for solo drinkers but feel cramped for couples. Add 60cm clearance behind each stool for leg room, otherwise the bar becomes a one-person-at-a-time station. Measure the full footprint including stool pull-back before buying.
What is the warranty process if my bar cabinet arrives damaged in Singapore?
Photograph the damage before assembly, then email the seller within 48 hours with batch numbers from the carton label. MIDHILL carries a 10-year structural warranty and 2-year surface warranty, plus lifetime refinishing at cost. Keep the export crate for two weeks because the courier may need to inspect it. Refunds or replacements ship only after the dated batch record is checked against your order file.
Common styling mistakes Singaporeans make with bar cabinets - what to avoid?
Three mistakes keep repeating: buying a cabinet wider than the wall it sits against, choosing glossy black in a dim condo corner, and placing it under the aircon without a tray. The first makes the room feel chopped, the second shows dust within hours, the third causes water rings that void warranty. Stick to warm woods under 150cm wide and add a 30cm stone tray underneath.
What should I buy first when styling a room around a new bar cabinet?
Buy the rug before anything else. The rug defines the bar zone footprint, and every later piece, stool, lamp, and art position depends on it. Pick a rug at least 60cm wider than the cabinet on all sides so the zone reads as intentional. Add the stools second, then the floor lamp, then styling objects last. Skipping this order forces compromises you will regret for years.
What size bar cabinet fits a 4-room HDB in Tampines without blocking the corridor fire escape?
For a standard 4-room Tampines HDB, keep the bar cabinet depth under 40cm and width under 90cm. HDB corridors are about 1.2m to 1.5m wide, and SCDF requires at least 1.05m clear escape path. Place it against a load-bearing wall, flush to the side, never angled. Measure from the door swing arc first, then mark 1.05m clearance with masking tape before delivery.
Is Scandinavian or Japandi style better for a bar cabinet in a modern condo?
Japandi suits HDB and newer condos better. Pair a 120cm light oak cabinet with linen-look Roman blinds in off-white and one black floor lamp with a slim arched stem. Scandinavian looks similar but tends to look bare under Singapore's warm light. Add a 60cm round rattan tray on top and a single pothos plant for warmth without clutter.
Does a bar cabinet need a back panel if I want to place it in the middle of the room?
Yes, you need a finished back panel for freestanding placement. Open-back cabinets are cheaper but expose raw wood and look cheap from a dining angle in an open-concept condo. Midhill finishes both sides of panels on its bar cabinets at no extra cost. Check before ordering, since adding a back panel afterwards in Singapore costs around S$180 to S$300 in carpentry labour.
How do I choose a furniture for a small space?
Start by measuring the walking path after doors and drawers are open, not just the empty floor. In HDB flats, keep major pieces at least 90cm apart so two people can pass. Choose furniture with legs, not solid bases, since raised pieces make a 4-room flat feel 10 to 15 percent larger. Multi-functional items like lift-top coffee tables earn their footprint back quickly.
Can a 150cm bar cabinet fit through a Jurong East condo service lift?
Most Jurong East condos have service lifts around 1.5m deep and 1.8m tall with doors 1.1m wide. A 150cm cabinet in its export crate usually measures 155cm by 65cm by 90cm, so it fits if tilted vertically. Confirm with your MCST before delivery day. Some service lifts restrict delivery hours to 10am-4pm on weekdays only.
What curtain colour works with a walnut bar cabinet in a light-coloured condo?
Walnut reads warm and reddish, so pair it with cool-tone curtains to balance. Soft sage green, dusty blue, or warm grey in linen-look polyester work well in Tampines or Punggol condos with north-facing windows. Keep curtain length just kissing the floor, 1cm break, never pooling. Sheer inner layer plus heavier outer panel handles Singapore's glare without darkening the room.
Is American country furniture suitable for Singapore HDB flats?
American country furniture is too bulky for most HDB flats. Typical pieces run 180cm to 200cm wide with distressed finishes that trap dust and humidity, a real problem in Singapore. For a similar warm look, choose a 120cm solid oak cabinet with shaker doors, shaker-style dining chairs, and a jute rug. You get the cottage feel without blocking your 1.05m corridor clearance.
How long does delivery take from the Foshan workshop to a Singapore condo?
Sea freight from Foshan to Singapore takes 7 to 10 days, plus 2 to 3 days for customs clearance at PSA. Add 3 to 5 working days for last-mile delivery and lift booking with your MCST. Total door-to-door is usually 14 to 18 working days. Midhill's Lecong workshop has exported to 15 plus countries since 2008, so Singapore paperwork is routine.
What is the difference between polyurethane and nitrocellulose lacquer for bar cabinets?
Nitrocellulose lacquer feels softer and is easier to spot-repair, but marks from a wet glass within minutes. Cross-linked polyurethane cures harder and resists alcohol, citrus, and standing water far better. Polyester sits between the two. For Singapore humidity, horizontal bar tops benefit from polyurethane even when vertical panels use nitrocellulose, a common production setup called a dual-finish system.
Does a European solid wood nightstand survive Singapore's humidity?
Yes, if it is kiln-dried to 8 to 10 percent moisture content before finishing. European oak, beech, and ash hold up well. Avoid nightstands with paper-backed veneers or MDF cores, which swell by monsoon season three. Look for a written moisture-content certificate on request. MIDHILL records batch moisture readings for every export order and will share them with buyers.
What cushion colour pairs with a dark wood bar cabinet on a beige sofa?
Pull one accent from the wood grain. Walnut cabinets pair well with mustard, terracotta, or rust cushions. Oak cabinets suit sage green, dusty pink, or slate blue. Stick to two cushion colours per sofa to avoid a cluttered look in a small HDB living room. Mix textures, linen plus boucle, since Singapore's air-conditioning dries flat fabrics quickly.
Is a master bed for family with kids different from a regular queen bed?
Yes, a family-friendly master bed needs rounded corners, a low profile under 50cm, and a solid wood frame that tolerates jumping. Avoid upholstered headboards, which stain quickly with little fingers. Look for beds with concealed storage drawers, useful in HDB master bedrooms where space is tight. MIDHILL's solid oak frames carry a 10-year structural warranty that covers joint loosening over time.
What common pairing mistakes should I avoid with a bar cabinet?
Three mistakes appear repeatedly in Singapore homes. First, placing a dark cabinet against an already dark accent wall, the room shrinks. Second, hanging a mirror directly above the cabinet, which doubles visual clutter. Third, choosing bar stools 10cm too tall, causing guests to slouch. Aim for 25cm to 30cm between seat and counter top for comfortable posture during long dinners.
Will a glass-door bar cabinet turn yellow under LED lighting?
Low-quality UV-emitting LEDs yellow acrylic and some polycarbonate over 2 to 3 years, but tempered glass itself does not yellow. The risk is the sealant and any plastic trim. Stick with reputable 2700K to 3000K LED strips from named brands. Wipe glass monthly with white vinegar diluted 1:4 with water to prevent Singapore dust haze build-up.
How much weight can a bar cabinet's wine rack actually hold?
A solid wood wine rack rated for 12 standard 750ml bottles holds roughly 18kg when evenly distributed. Particleboard versions often sag at the centre after 6 months. Check that the rack uses through-tenon joinery or metal dowels, not just glue and staples. In Singapore, avoid hanging wine glasses directly above the rack, vibration from door slams loosens stems.
What paint colour matches a light oak bar cabinet in a small condo?
Soft greige, warm white, or muted clay walls let the oak glow. In a Bedok or Jurong condo with limited natural light, avoid stark white, which turns blue-grey under Singapore's overcast skies. Try Dulux Beige Mystery or Jotun Eco White. Use eggshell finish, easier to wipe down near a bar area where splashes are common. Ceiling stays pure flat white.
How do I style a Nordic bed frame in a small HDB bedroom?
In a 4-room HDB bedroom around 12 sqm, keep the Nordic bed frame (typically 150–180cm long, ash or oak veneer) as the hero piece. Pair it with two slim 50cm bedside tables, a 90×200cm linen rug under the front legs only, and blackout linen-look curtains in oat or warm grey. Leave 70cm of walkway on at least one side. Avoid heavy headboards above 110cm, they overpower low ceilings around 2.6m common in Singapore HDB flats.
Is French provincial loveseat furniture worth it for a condo in Singapore?
Yes, if your living room is at least 2.8m wide. A French provincial loveseat (usually 140–160cm, solid mahogany or rubberwood) suits high-ceiling condos in Punggol or Jurong better than HDB flats. Pair it with a slim gold mirror, a 120cm oval coffee table, and linen-look curtains. Skip ornate frames if your unit is under 90 sqm; the curves crowd the space. Always request a moisture reading before delivery, as carved wood hates humidity above 80%.
Can I fit a 200cm bar cabinet through my Punggol condo service lift?
Most Punggol condo service lifts have doors around 90cm wide and 210cm tall cabins, so a 200cm bar cabinet must ship in two halves or flat-pack (knock-down). Check your condo's loading bay opening too, some are only 80cm. A standard HDB goods lift at Jurong East accepts cartons up to 240cm tall. Always measure the diagonal corner-to-corner; a 60cm-deep cabinet needs 135cm of turning clearance on L-shaped corridors.
What finish should I choose for a bar cabinet in a humid Singapore home?
Cross-linked polyurethane outperforms nitrocellulose lacquer in Singapore's climate because it resists humidity cycles for 8–10 years without micro-cracking. Polyester is the most durable but feels plasticky. High-touch areas like the top should get a different system than vertical panels. Always ask which finish protects horizontal surfaces; this is where rings and water damage start. A written cleaning instruction ships with your order, follow it.
Can a 90cm bar cabinet pass through my HDB main door in Bedok?
Yes, most HDB main doors measure 90×210cm, so a 90cm-wide cabinet fits if its height stays under 200cm and depth under 55cm. Measure the door frame diagonally, you need at least 5cm clearance each side for the hinges. For deeper units, tilt diagonally during the move. Pre-2010 blocks in Bedok sometimes have narrower corridor turns around 100cm, so check before delivery day to avoid a failed attempt and S$80 redelivery fee.
How do I clean sticky residue off my new solid wood bar cabinet?
Use a soft microfibre cloth lightly dampened with pH-neutral wood cleaner, never vinegar, lemon, or silicone polish. Wipe along the grain, then dry immediately. For sticky rings, rest a warm (not hot) iron over a cotton cloth for 10 seconds. Standing water on edges is the top cause of warranty claims. A written cleaning card ships with every MIDHILL order, keep it; abrasive or high-pH cleaners void the surface warranty within months.
Does MIDHILL ship bar cabinets directly to HDB flats in Singapore?
MIDHILL exports from its Foshan workshop (established 2008) to 15+ countries and can arrange sea freight to Singapore, typically 18–25 days door-to-door for a flat-packed bar cabinet. Free shipping applies over US$350. The structural warranty runs 10 years, surface 2 years, with lifetime refinishing. Their Lecong showroom works by appointment; bring a dimension schedule and they will produce a specification within five working days.
Which floor lamp shape works best next to a tall bar cabinet?
An arc floor lamp with a 160–180cm reach works next to a tall bar cabinet because it throws light across the top without crowding the floor. In compact HDB living rooms around 16 sqm, pick a slim-base design (under 30cm diameter) to protect the walkway. Avoid drum-shade lamps on short stems, they sit at eye level and clash with bottles displayed on upper shelves. Warm 2700K bulbs flatter wood grain.
How do I stop glass doors on my bar cabinet from collecting dust in Singapore?
Singapore's humidity pulls fine dust onto glass quickly. Wipe doors every 10 days with a dry microfibre cloth, then a lightly dampened one weekly. Avoid ammonia-based cleaners; they leave streaks in tropical humidity. Apply a thin layer of glycerin-free anti-static spray once a month. Keep the cabinet at least 5cm from walls so airflow prevents the sticky film that turns to grime within weeks in areas like Tampines near construction sites.
What paint colour goes with an oak bar cabinet in a small condo?
Soft warm white (Benjamin Moore White Dove or Dulux Antique White USA) pairs cleanly with oak bar cabinets in small condos. For bolder contrast, try muted sage or dusty blue on the accent wall behind the cabinet. Avoid stark cool white, it makes oak look orange under Singapore's daylight. Paint a sample A4 swatch on the actual wall and observe at 10am and 8pm before committing; HDB lighting shifts the tone noticeably.
Will a 100cm bar cabinet warp inside my Tampines HDB store room?
Store rooms in Tampines HDB flats often lack ventilation, so humidity can climb above 90% during wet months. A solid wood 100cm cabinet will warp if moisture content exceeds 15%. Request a kiln-dried piece below 12% and place two silica gel packs (replaced monthly) inside. Keep the door slightly ajar or drill two 2cm ventilation holes at the back. Never wrap it in plastic, trapped moisture causes mould within 6 weeks.
How are MIDHILL bar cabinets packed for export to Singapore?
Export crates use low-moisture timber plus desiccant matched to cargo volume and a vapour barrier, engineered for stacking compression, racking, edge impact, and point loads during 25-day sea voyages. Glass shelves travel vertically in padded slots with polished faces never touching. A rigid crate base matters more than extra thickness for surviving container handling at PSA. Inspect the crate on arrival before signing, moisture readings should stay under 14%.
What cushion fabric pairs with a wooden bar cabinet and leather stools?
Linen-look cushions in oatmeal or sage soften the leather-and-wood combo typical in modern Malaysian condo styling. Choose removable, washable covers; Singapore humidity means you'll launder them every 6–8 weeks. Avoid velvet, it traps moisture and flattens under bar-stool leaning. Two 45cm cushions on a 90cm bench seat create the right proportion. Rotate cushions monthly so sun-exposed sides fade evenly along your condo's window wall.
Which plant works next to a bar cabinet without inviting insects?
A snake plant (Sansevieria) or ZZ plant in a 25cm ceramic pot works beside a bar cabinet because both tolerate low light and don't drop leaves that attract fruit flies near open bottles. Avoid fresh flowers or fruit bowls on top, the moisture draws ants within days in HDB corridors. Wipe leaves monthly with neem-oil solution to deter scale insects. Keep the pot on a saucer; water overflow ruins wood bases within a year.
How wide should the corridor stay clear when placing a bar cabinet in a HDB flat?
HDB fire-safety rules require at least 1.2m of clear corridor width, but in practice you want 90cm minimum between the bar cabinet and opposite wall for two adults to pass. A 90cm-wide cabinet against one wall leaves about 80–100cm walkway in typical 1.8m-wide HDB corridors. In condos, corridor bylaws often demand 1.5m for fire-escape compliance. Always measure before delivery; Jurong East older blocks have narrower 1.5m linkways.
What is the return policy if my bar cabinet arrives damaged in Singapore?
MIDHILL offers 14-day returns and a 10-year structural warranty, 2-year surface warranty, plus lifetime refinishing. Photograph any crate damage before opening, then the cabinet itself. Surface scratches within 5cm, dents deeper than 2mm, or mould spots qualify for replacement parts or refinishing. File claims within 48 hours of delivery with the batch record number (found on the crate and cleaning instruction card) so the Lecong team can trace your order quickly.
Where can I view MIDHILL bar cabinets before ordering in Singapore?
MIDHILL operates a Lecong (Foshan) showroom by appointment, popular with Singapore buyers combining factory visits with China sourcing trips. Within Singapore itself, they ship flat-packed directly to HDB flats and condos. Bring a dimension schedule to the showroom: two working days produces a shortlist, five days a full specification. Virtual video tours of the workshop are available for buyers who want to verify the 2008-established production line before committing to a S$2,000+ order.
Will a 140cm bar cabinet fit through my Jurong East condo lift?
Jurong East condo service lifts typically measure 1.2m wide by 1.5m deep with a 2.1m ceiling. A 140cm cabinet needs to be tilted, which means the longest dimension must clear the diagonal — roughly 1.85m. MIDHILL builds export crates engineered for stacking compression and edge impact, so the frame arrives square. Tip: measure lift diagonal, not just floor, before confirming the order.
What wood finish holds up best in Singapore humidity for a bar cabinet?
Cross-linked polyurethane outperforms nitrocellulose lacquer in Singapore because it resists moisture ingress along joints. High-touch horizontal tops often get a different system than vertical panels for exactly this reason. MIDHILL applies progressive abrasive hand-rubbing followed by felt-block paste and swirl-removal buff. Avoid silicone polishes — they void surface warranty within the 2-year window.
How do I style a bar cabinet in a small Punggol condo Japandi style?
Keep the bar cabinet against a blank wall, then layer one pendant lamp at 70cm above the top, a single oversized ceramic vase, and a low-pile 160x230cm rug underneath. Japandi likes negative space, so avoid clustering bottles on the counter — display three decanters only. A warm off-white wall (Dulux 30YY 83/026) behind the cabinet lifts the whole composition without crowding the 28sqm floor plate.
Will glass doors on a bar cabinet in Singapore turn yellow under sunlight?
Low-iron tempered glass stays clear for years; standard clear glass can yellow slightly at the edges after 3–4 years of direct west-facing sun, which Punggol and Bedok units often receive. Use UV-filtering film on the window behind the cabinet, not on the glass door itself. Wipe with diluted white vinegar monthly — never ammonia, which corrodes the rubber seals.
How do I stop mould growing inside my bar cabinet during the monsoon?
Run a 12V mini dehumidifier inside the cabinet, or place two packets of food-grade desiccant changed monthly. Mould control during shipping is handled with low-moisture crate timber, desiccant matched to cargo volume, and a vapour barrier — but once in your Tampines flat, the cabinet relies on you. Keep it 10cm off the back wall to let air circulate behind it.
Which rug size should I buy under a 100cm bar cabinet?
For a 100cm cabinet, choose a 200x300cm rug so at least 40cm of rug shows on every side when pulled out for seating. Anything smaller looks like a bath mat. In a compact Bedok dining area, a flat-weave wool blend beats a plush shag — shag traps humidity and edges curl in air-conditioning. Budget S$220–S$480 for a 200x300cm piece that anchors the zone.
Is American loveseat furniture worth it for a Singapore condo?
American loveseats (typically 150–170cm wide) suit 3-genec HDB living rooms where a full sofa overwhelms the space. The trade-off: deep 95cm seat depth suits taller Western frames, so shorter Singaporean users often need a lumbar cushion. Check that the piece uses kiln-dried hardwood, not rubberwood with a walnut veneer, which tends to split at the rail joints within 18 months in humid bedrooms.
What curtain length works with a bar cabinet placed near a window?
Curtains should kiss the floor, not pool — so measure drop from rod to floor minus 1cm. For a bar cabinet under a window in a Jurong East unit, choose 230cm drop to clear the cabinet top by 3cm. Linen-cotton blends breathe better than 100% polyester in Singapore humidity. Skip sheer-only layering; pair with a blackout lining to protect spirits from UV degradation behind the glass.
Which bar cabinet style suits a Korean minimal condo in Bedok?
Korean minimal favours slim 35–40cm depth, flat-panel doors, and a white-oak or ash tone over heavy carved detail. Avoid glass-fronted cabinets with mirrored backs — too glam for the aesthetic. A 120cm MIDHILL bar cabinet with push-to-open handles and a single internal LED strip matches the look. Pair with a diatomaceous earth coaster set and one trailing pothos on top for the soft touch Korean interiors rely on.
How do I clean a nightstand without damaging the finish?
Dampen a microfibre cloth with water and a drop of pH-neutral dish soap, wring until almost dry, then wipe along the grain. Never spray cleaner directly onto the surface — liquid seeps into mitred joints and lifts the lacquer. Abrasive creams, silicone polishes, and standing water on edges are the three warranty-voiding mistakes MIDHILL flags in the cleaning instruction slip shipped inside the crate.
Will a 160cm bar cabinet fit through my HDB corridor?
Standard HDB corridors measure 1.2m wide, with fire-rated doors around 0.9m. A 160cm cabinet only fits if you can tilt it to 45° and the corridor diagonal clears 1.95m. Measure from the lift lobby corner to your unit door — that is your true bottleneck. Crates engineered for stacking compression arrive upright; check the base dimensions before signing the delivery order at your Tampines block.
What is the best lighting for a bar cabinet display area?
Use a 2700K warm LED strip mounted under the upper shelf, plus one 7W puck light inside the cabinet. Total wattage under 15W prevents heat damage to wine and spirits. Choose CRI 90+ so the wood grain reads true, not flat. Hardwire via a switched socket — avoid plug-in strips, which clutter the back of the cabinet and show through glass doors.
Are bar cabinets with marble tops practical in Singapore?
Marble tops look luxurious but etch instantly from lemon, wine, and whisky spills — common in any bar setup. In a Jurong condo without constant air-conditioning, humidity also darkens unsealed marble edges within a year. If you love the look, choose honed (not polished) marble and seal it every 6 months. Solid oak tops with a cross-linked polyurethane finish are far more forgiving for the same S$300–S$500 budget.
Where should I place a bar cabinet in a small Tampines flat?
The strongest spot is the wall opposite the kitchen entrance, leaving 90cm clearance for two people to pass. Avoid the wall directly under the air-con — condensation drips behind the cabinet and breeds mould. In a 4-room HDB, a 100cm cabinet doubles as a sideboard when not used as a bar, so place it within arm's reach of the dining table rather than in a separate dead corner.
Nordic dining chair Malaysia price vs Singapore — is it worth cross-border buying?
Nordic dining chairs in Malaysia retail from RM450–RM900 per piece (roughly S$130–S$260), which undercuts Singapore furniture store pricing by 25–40%. The catch: delivery from a Malaysian seller to a Punggol condo costs S$150–S$300, and warranty claims require shipping back. MIDHILL's Foshan-direct 10-year structural warranty covers Singapore delivery directly, often ending up cheaper than a self-driven Johor run once petrol and time are tallied.
Can I customise a bar cabinet to fit my Punggol condo alcove?
Yes — MIDHILL's Lecong showroom runs a two-day shortlist evaluation and a five-day specification turnaround if you bring a dimension schedule. Standard HDB alcoves are 160x55x210cm or 180x55x210cm, and a custom cabinet to fill one runs S$2,800–S$4,200 before GST. Buyers who bring exact alcove measurements plus a sketch of the existing skirting and power point leave with a usable specification, not just a quote.
Champagne cherry wood sofa — does it suit modern Malaysian condo interiors?
Champagne cherry wood has a warm pink undertone that pairs well with modern Malaysian condo palettes of off-white walls and brushed brass hardware. The grain is more subtle than American black walnut, so it works in compact 800sqft units without darkening the room. Pair with a boucle armchair in ivory and a single travertine side table — avoid matching cherry wood side tables, which read dated.
What cushion fabric works best on bar cabinet seating in Singapore?
Performance velvet with a 50,000 Martindale rub count handles daily use and wipes clean of red wine spills. Avoid linen-only cushion covers in Singapore — they absorb humidity and stay damp against the wood frame. A removable, washable cover in 100% solution-dyed polyester stays colour-fast under Punggol's afternoon sun and resists the mould issues common to natural fibres in air-conditioned bedrooms.
What is the most common pairing mistake when buying a bar cabinet?
Buying the cabinet before measuring the actual bottle storage depth — most spirits are 9–11cm diameter and 28–33cm tall, but many cabinets only offer 25cm internal height. The second mistake is ignoring the back panel material: thin MDF backs bow under Singapore humidity within a year. Check that the back is solid wood, at least 12mm thick, before you commit to delivery to your Bedok flat.
