In the heart of Singapore, where HDB flats and condos are the norm, and high humidity and small footprints are realities, finding the perfect piece of furniture is a challenge. One family, living in the bustling Midhill neighborhood, found a solution in the Art Deco Geometric Contrast Sideboard. This unique piece not only added a touch of elegance to their dining room but also stood the test of time, proving its worth over five years. Let's delve into their journey.
Singapore's unique climate, characterized by high humidity and the monsoon season, demands furniture that can withstand the elements. HDB flats and condos, which make up the majority of residential buildings, often have limited space, making every piece of furniture a crucial decision.
The Midhill neighborhood, known for its lush greenery and serene atmosphere, is home to the Smith family. They had recently moved into a cozy HDB flat, and the dining room was in dire need of a centerpiece. They were looking for something that would not only serve as storage but also make a statement.
After much research, the Smiths stumbled upon the Art Deco Geometric Contrast Sideboard. With its diagonal cream & black fluted buffet and brass triangle handles, it was a perfect blend of modern and classic design. The sideboard was priced at S$3570.00 per unit, a significant investment for the family.
Upon delivery, the sideboard was a hit. Its striking two-tone facade and tapered legs instantly elevated the dining space. The Smiths were thrilled with their purchase and felt that the sideboard was a perfect fit for their home.
Given Singapore's climate, the Smiths knew that regular maintenance was crucial to keep the sideboard in top condition. Here's their routine:
Over the course of five years, the Smiths spent a total of S$140.00 on maintenance. This included the cost of the protective wax and occasional repairs. When compared to the initial investment of S$3570.00, the maintenance cost was a mere 3.9% of the total cost, making it a cost-effective choice.
The Art Deco Geometric Contrast Sideboard has proven to be a wise investment. It has not only remained in excellent condition but has also increased the value of their home. The Smiths often host dinner parties at their home, and the sideboard is often the centerpiece of conversation, drawing compliments from guests.
The Art Deco Geometric Contrast Sideboard has been a game-changer for the Smith family. It has not only added beauty to their dining room but has also stood the test of time, proving its worth over five years. For those looking to make a statement in their dining space while considering maintenance and total cost, this sideboard is a perfect choice.
