Modern Upholstered Bed for Outdoor Living | MIDHILL

Outdoor living in Australia blends coastal charm with urban convenience. Homes in neighbourhoods like MIDHILL often feature expansive verandas, perfect for extending living spaces. As rental and owner-occupied properties alike demand stylish, durable furniture, dealers and project buyers seek pieces that withstand the country's humidity and long shipping times. The Modern Minimalist Fabric Upholstered Bed Frame with Soft Boucle Headboard offers a solution, available for wholesale purchase with specific MOQ considerations.

Specifications and Design Details

This bed frame combines modern elegance with practicality, designed for outdoor use in Australian conditions. Key specifications include:

Dimensions: 200cm x 90cm x 120cm
Weight: 95kg
Upholstery: Soft boucle fabric, resistant to fading and moisture
Headboard: Plush, upholstered design for comfort
Color options: Frost White (A$6980) and Chestnut Brown (A$6980)

The Frost White option pairs well with minimalist Australian interiors, while Chestnut Brown adds warmth suitable for coastal homes. The boxy silhouette and tall headboard create a statement piece, ideal for large outdoor lounges or covered patios.

Who This Bed Suits

The bed is designed for:

Homeowners in Sydney, Melbourne, or Brisbane seeking high-end outdoor furniture for owner-occupied homes
Rental property managers needing durable, stylish furniture for short-term leases
Event planners for temporary installations in Australian holiday resorts
Project buyers for new housing developments in regions like the Sunshine Coast

The fabric withstands humidity, ensuring longevity in coastal areas. Its lightweight construction (despite the 95kg weight) facilitates shipping across Australia, though delivery times to remote regions may extend to 3-4 months.

Where to Place It

The bed excels in:

Large balconies in apartment complexes, such as those in inner-city Sydney
Outdoor courtyards in Melbourne's bayside suburbs
Enclosed patios in Brisbane's tropical climate
Commercial outdoor dining areas in Perth

Its modern design complements contemporary Australian architecture, from minimalist homes in Melbourne to coastal cottages in Queensland. The headboard's height provides ample back support for lounging, making it suitable for daytime relaxation as well as nighttime use.

Styling Options

The bed's versatility allows for multiple styling approaches:

Coastal Theme

Pair the Frost White bed with natural wood side tables and rattan cushions. Add a weathered metal lamp for a seaside aesthetic, ideal for Mornington Peninsula homes.

Urban Minimalist

Incorporate the Chestnut Brown bed into a monochromatic scheme using black or grey outdoor cushions. Accents of metallic gold, such as in a MIDHILL-designed sideboard, enhance the modern feel.

Tropical Escape

For Brisbane or Cairns properties, layer the bed with tropical patterns in cushions and add palms for a lush retreat. The brown option pairs particularly well with green foliage.

Wholesale and MOQ Considerations

Dealers and project buyers should note:

Minimum Order Quantity (MOQ): 10 pieces for project buyers, 20 pieces for wholesale dealers
Shipping: A$450 to $800 depending on location, with transit times of 2-4 months
Customization: Fabric colour changes available for larger orders
Warranty: 5-year warranty against UV damage and fabric degradation

This makes the bed suitable for bulk purchases by property developers or large-scale rental companies. The investment of A$6980 per piece represents a 15% discount on retail for wholesale buyers, with potential for additional volume pricing.

For dealers interested in complementary items, MIDHILL offers matching outdoor lounge chairs that coordinate with the bed's colour palette, creating cohesive outdoor collections for Australian markets.

Climate-Specific Features and Durability

The Modern Upholstered Bed is engineered with specific features to withstand diverse Australian outdoor conditions. For instance, the fabric upholstery is treated with advanced hydrophobic technology, offering resistance to light rain and preventing water from soaking through, which is particularly beneficial for coastal areas like the Gold Coast where sudden showers are common. the frame incorporates powder-coated aluminum legs that are powder-coated in a UV-resistant finish, preventing rust and fading even in high-sun exposure environments typical of Perth's climate. These details ensure longevity and ease of maintenance across different regions, making it a practical choice for homeowners in various weather patterns across the country.

Integration with Outdoor Living Technologies

The bed's design also considers modern outdoor living technology integration, featuring built-in USB charging ports discreetly placed within the headboard. This allows users to easily charge smartphones or tablets while relaxing on the bed, enhancing the experience for tech-savvy consumers. the bed’s base is designed to be compatible with electric actuators, enabling it to be converted into a sofa bed configuration at the touch of a button. This feature is especially appealing for apartment dwellers in cities like Sydney, where space utilization is crucial, and for holiday rentals that cater to extended stays, providing added functionality and value to the users.
